The Rotary Club of Chatham Sunrise is seeing a slight decline in membership and is hoping to reverse the trend.
There are currently 33 members in the club, down a handful over the last few years, and president Greg Kett says there is a need to grow.
“It’s our club that puts on ribfest, that takes literally hundreds and hundreds of volunteers,” says Kett. “It would be wonderful to do something that would see our membership increase to 53 or 63 or 73 people. That would be a tremendous problem to have.”
He says the sunrise club would like to recruit more young professionals and is planning a joint promotion with the Rotary Club of Chatham, Downtown.
