The Dresden Medical Centre is still on pace to open in late this fall. Paul Weese, the chair of the Dresden Community Health Foundation, says construction is going quite well so far.
According to Weese, the construction crew is working on the interior of the building installing insulation, wiring, and plumbing. But the fundraising seems to be slowing down a bit during the summer months.
“It’s just a slow time of the year,” says Weese, “At least I hope that’s the case. We fully expect that we will be able to complete the fundraising.”
Weese says they have about $200,000 that they still need to raise by the end of the fall. He says they are still planning on opening the new centre on November 1, 2012.
