Brendan Lemieux again came through in the clutch to score the overtime winner as the Windsor Spitfires beat the Saginaw Spirit 7-6 at the WFCU Centre.

Spitfires Fall In Lemieux’s Debut

Newly-acquired Windsor Spitfire winger Brendan Lemieux scored a goal and an assist in his first game in a Spits uniform, but that, and three unanswered goals in the third period, were not enough to snap Windsor’s current winless streak.

Firebirds Burn Spitfires In Overtime

Mathieu Henderson picked up the puck and ran it the other way past Windsor Spitfires goalie Michael DiPietro as the Flint Firebirds beat the Spits in overtime Thursday night 4-3 before 4,116 at the WFCU Centre.

Knights Get Past Spitfires 5-3

Christian Dvorak scored two goals and got assists and Mitchell Marner added a goal and two assists of his own as the London Knights beat the Windsor Spitfires 5-3 Sunday afternoon at the WFCU Centre.
