Summary Tuesday Fed steers and heifers sold $1-2 higher. Choice strs and hfrs 151.00 – 155.00 with a higher of 159.50. Second cut $147.00 – $151.00. Cows sold steady.

Thursday Veal calves sold $1.50 higher across the board. Beef calves sold steady. Lambs and sheep sold barely steady. Goats sold steady.

Friday Calves and yearlings sold on a strong steady market.

Steers

K/C McAlpine Farms of Ailsa Craig consigned 8 hd that averaged 1668 lbs and sold for an average price of 143.31. Four char strs averaged 1673 lbs and sold for 148.50.

Brian Berg of Gadshill consigned 8 hd that averaged 1528 lbs and sold for an average price of 146.56. 1 sim str weighed 1630 lbs and sold for 146.50.

Heifers
