Total Receipts 1343 cattle & 993 lambs & goats

Summary Tuesday Fed steers and heifers sold on a good demand at prices $2 lower. Choice strs and hfrs 144.00 – 148.00 sales to $160.50. Second cut 140.00 – 144.00. Cows sold steady.
Thursday Holstein calves sold on a very strong market with a good demand at prices up $5. Beef calves sold steady. Lambs and goats sold steady, sheep sold slightly lower
Friday Calves and yearlings sold actively at steady prices with grass cattle selling at a premium
Steers

Chris Smith of Brussels consigned 12 steers that averaged 1525 lbs and sold for an average price of 150.86. One limo steer weighed 1610 lbs and sold to Cargill Meat Solutions for 158.00.

Aaron & Jason Coultes of Wingham consigned 3 steers that averaged 1472 lbs and sold for an average price of 148.10. One blk steer weighed 1525 lbs and sold to Cargill Meat Solutions for 150.00.

Heifers
