U-S Farmers Making Good Harvest ProgressOctober 27, 2015 8:49am
The U-S corn and soybean harvests are running ahead of the five year average.
Corn is 75 per cent off, soybeans 87 per cent.
That’s 7 points better than the average pace for both crops.
The USDA says 83 per cent of the winter wheat is planted – just 2 points behind the average.
And the department reports 47 per cent of that crop is now rated good to excellent – 12 points behind it’s condition at this time last year.
