U-S Corn Crop Condition Improves Slightly

The U-S corn condition gained a point last week while soybeans held steady.
The USDA says 70 per cent of the corn and 62 per cent of the soybeans are now rated good to excellent.
For corn, that’s 5 points behind last year.
For soybeans, it’s 9 points behind.
The U-S spring wheat crop is now 71 per cent good to excellent – one point better than both last week and last year at this time.
American growers have 85 per cent of their winter wheat harvested – 5 points better than at this time last year.
